Description: After two years of jail time, Cuma (known for his speciality of stealing works of art) is allowed out due to poor health. Gruby, a paintings dealer who arranged Cuma’s departure from jail, encourages him to steal the Leonardo DaVinci painting “Lady with an Ermine” housed in the Museum of the Czartoryski Princes.
Cuma decides to take the job and turns to Julian, his old partner, for help. He doesn’t know, however, that after two years much has changed, and Julian has not only retired from a career of theft, but now works for the police. Julian must make a tough decision: on the one hand he owes Cuma a favour since it was Cuma who took the blame for an unsuccessful robbery, on the other hand Julian doesn’t want the most expensive painting in Poland to disappear. Julian decides to help out Cuma, but doesn’t want Gruby to get the original painting, so he hires Hagen to create several fake “Lady with an Ermine” paintings.
