Description: Two brothers live in a small village with an old, terminally ill and bedridden mother.  They hide from her the fact that they sold their farm animals, machinery, and land.  Jan, the older brother incorporates strictness and discipline and terrorizes Tomasz, the younger brother.  Tomasz wants to sell whatever is left and move out.  He meets a single woman with a child.  Jan does not accept her.  A tragedy seems imminent….
