Danuta Milej is a film star and a very busy mother of Tosia. Their holidays begin inauspiciously when they are late for the flight. Instead of Italy they end up in a lonely house on an island. From the edge of the forest they are being watched by a television journalist working on a program about the private life of the actress. Peter, his son, gets the idea of filming both using a miniature camera hidden in a cap. The boy, pretending to have almost drowned wins the trust of Tosia and her mother. However, the ploy is revealed. On the way back the car of the reporter and the tapes drown. Danuta overcomes her dislike of men and agrees to another shot. A local boy living nearby asks the actress to sing to his cow called Venus during the full moon. The cow listens to the singing and gives milk that fulfils all wishes.
