Max has a promising career as a doctor of philosophy. A modest teaching salary and slim prospects for a better future force him to seek other sources of income. Max writes master’s theses to order. Stella, a senior year education student, becomes one of his clients. Things are complicated when Max falls in love with Stella, who is the girlfriend of Ramzes, an influential and jealous gangster. Stella, a femme fatale, provokes a duel between Ramzes and Max. Meanwhile Ramzes decides to improve his skills and obtain a PhD, forcing Max to assist him in this endeavor. Submerged in furthering his education, the gangster does not notice that Stella and Max are falling deeper in love.

 

Olaf Linde-Lubaszenko

Born 1968

 

 

 

He was born into a family of actors – the son of Asia Lamtiugina and Edward Linde-Lubaszenko. In 1986-1987 he studied sociology at the University of Warsaw. He then studied at the Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw. In 1991 he became a professional actor. In 2001 he became a member of the European Film Academy. His first role at age 14 was the title role in the film “The Life of Kamil Kurant.” Since then he has acted in many films and he has worked as an assistant director, producer, and director.
