“Close Your Eyes” is the story of a defiant girl who needs much more attention, latitude, and free time than her parents can provide as they are busy with their careers. The little girl finds sympathy in her former teacher, who is now the caretaker of a farm, and whom she draws into a psychological match with her father. From the side she observes the clash of their positions and values. Despite his attachment to the girl, the caretaker prepares her for their parting and for reconciliation with her parents.
