Synopsis: |
This
animated feature film, geared for adult viewers, is a life work of
Andrzej Czeczot, famed illustrator, who has lived many years as an
émigré in the United States. Eden is about the adventures of Youzeck, a
“Czeczot everyman,” who travels through Hell and Heaven until at last he
lands in New York aboard Noah’ s ark. Along the way he meets many famous
characters: Prometheus, Janosik, Salvador Dali, Elvis Presley, the
orchestra from the Titanic, Clinton with Monica Lewinsky, many strange
animals and monsters, angels, a witch, and even God himself. The
picture, hand painted in its entirety, was made on celluloid film. Work
on the movie lasted from 1996 to 2002. |
