John Paul II – The Memories He Left Behind
Jan Peweł II - co pozostawił... w pamięci

Poles in North America and Western Europe share their most significant memories of Pope John Paul II. Polish historians bring us closer to their analysis of key moments in the Pope’s pontificate, also revealing some previously unknown facts. The film blends moments of unprecedented, nationwide mourning, with gratitude for 27 incomparable years in the history of Poland and the world.

John Paul II remembered by Poles around the world
Jan Paweł II w pamięci Polaków na świecie

Gatherings of thousands of people in London’s Trafalgar Square, or on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago became historical moments in both of the cities’ history. The film was also shot in several other countries shortly after Polish Pope’s passing and shows the impact it had on Poles living abroad.
