Arek and Magda are a married couple from 25 years, caring for their sick grandfather. They live with their son, Tomek, who has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend Asia. It is a typical family and seemingly everything is fine. And yet...
Magda is a teacher at a Catholic high school. She hides from everyone the fact that she is gay. Arek has been unable to find a job for a long time, and Tomek - a popular YouTuber - turns out to be an immature egoist. When Magda reveals her sexual orientation at an unexpected moment, an avalanche of problems falls on the heroes. Asia breaks up with Tomek, their grandfather disappears, and Arek can't get his life together... And this is only the beginning of troubles and challenges that will stand in their way...
It is a bittersweet story told using modern means from the perspective of Tom. "Black Sheep" is a warm and touching family story, seen through the eyes of a young and talented YouTuber, told with the use of off-screen, which comments on what is happening on the screen in a comical and at the same time accurate way. It is made in a modern style using documentary inserts, split-screen, ingenious editing shortcuts, spiced up with the energy and way of thinking of the young generation who know the internet inside out!
