A Polish musical directed by Leonard Buczkowski. It was the first feature film to be created in Poland after World War II. The film is set during the German occupation of Warsaw during the WW II and tells the story of the lives and deaths of heroic underground fighters. This is also a movie about the patriotic, defiant street songs that sustained the Warsaw inhabitants during the Nazi occupation.
It is presented here for the first time ever with English subtitles.
