Adi Spektor, Polish-born actor and 2014 iPhone Film Festival juror, has made his mark as a first-time director with his award-winning comedy horror short film How to Rob a House. To go along with Spektor’s love of the iPhone, the film was created solely on an iPhone 5s mobile device. The film, which was written and directed by Spektor, has received amazing reviews and became one of the top two finalists at the 4th Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival in South Korea. The latest accolade the film has garnered is the Best Script Award at the 3rd edition of the Cinephone International Film Festival in Barcelona.
“It is really exciting to see the way our seven minute comedy-horror is being rapidly received by the film industry.” Spektor said in a statement. “When watching a movie I like the unexpected, so I hope that everyone who watches ‘How to Rob a House’ enjoys the thrilling ride of getting surprised over and over again.” - shockya.com
