Life for beginners (Życie dla początkujących)

Monia is an introvert and a vampire. She works in a nursing home, where she survives on blood collected under sanitary conditions, and her only human contact comes from conversations with dementia patients. Life feels safe, predictable, and perfectly manageable until Czarek, a mortal who uncovers her secret, enters the picture.
At the same time, something unsettling begins to stir in the nursing home: strange bite marks appear on the bodies of the deceased. The culprit is Mirek, a failed suicide whom Monia once turned into a vampire. For Mirek, immortality is unbearable, and since only his creator can end his suffering, he gives Monia an ultimatum: kill him, or he’ll prey on every patient in the home. But when Mirek gets a taste of the beauty of nightlife, his plans may not be so straightforward.
