Wonderful Summer (Cudowne lato)

A standout black romantic comedy in Polish cinema. The film unfolds in a funeral parlor. Eighteen-year-old Kitka has the unusual gift of being able to communicate with her dead mother’s spirit. Kitka’s mother visits her to fulfill one mission – she wants to make sure Kitka does not miss out on true love with the boy who lives and works next to her. She refuses to depart for the netherworld until Kitka makes the right choice – finding a meaningful and loving relationship.
