One of the most promising Polish actresses of her generation, Ms. Grochowska graduated from the Warsaw Theater Academy in 2002. Her film debut was in the 2002 film Alarm, but it was her role of Uli Tokarska in the TV series Zaginiona (2002-2003) that brought her critical acclaim. Since then, she has made several feature films, including three international productions. In 2005 she was nominated for Best Actress by the Polish Film Awards for her role of Tania in the film Pręgi.
