Michał Szcześniak director, screenwriter

In 2000, at the age of 19, Mr. Szcześniak began writing for Playboy and Wprost, the most popular Polish weekly magazine. A year later, he had his own column and wrote music critiques for the daily magazine Życie. In 2005, he received a Nisimasa European Script Contest Award, one of the most important script awards for young talents in Europe for his short script A Boat.

Mr. Szcześniak continues writing film scripts and is now writing a new novel. He has also directed a second short film, and is in his third year of studies in sociology. For the past year, he served as producer and programming director for the popular and edgy internet television site, Lemon TV. During his tenure, Lemon TV has become the most popular in Poland.
