Bigger! Better! Oct. 16

Festival Guests Thank you all for a successful first festival weekend! Our second, closing weekend is even bigger with many distinguished guest, outstanding films and festival reception yet to come. On Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 PM festival supporters and festival pass holders are invited to Festival Reception at Ten Mercer. Saturday night, Oct. 19, we're showing Imagine which has received rave reviews. This weekend in attendance will be Andrzej Jakimowski, Bodo Kox, Paweł Małaszyński, Janusz Zaorski and other festival guest. Second weekend festival pass is only $30. Buy festival pass now!

Free Events: Polański Tribute Oct. 08

Roman Polanski Tribute NightThis year's festival opens on Friday, Oct 11 with a FREE Roman Polański tribute night featuring the documentary Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir, examining his troubled history; followed by the classic drama Knife in the Water, his remarkable directorial debut which won Polański worldwide acclaim, a place on the cover of Time Magazine, and his first Oscar nomination.

SPFF gives award Sep. 24

2012 Viewers Choice Award AcceptedDonata Rojewska of High Spot accepts the 2012 Viewers Choice Award on behalf of Mitja Okorn from Zbyszek Pietrzyk, SPFF managing director, during the 38 Gdynia Film Festival. Mitja Okorn won for his romantic comedy Letters to Santa at the 20th Seattle Polish Film Festival in 2012.
